The brand was initially conceived by Armin Strom in 1967, who became known for his skill in the hand-skeletonisation of watches, which continued over the next 30 years. In 2006, he passed the brand over to founder Serge Michel and watchmaker Claude Greisler, who continue to helm the manufacture today, continuing Strom’s legacy but also focusing on bringing its Swiss-German heritage into the modern era.
