VACHERON CONSTANTIN
The artistic side of traditional watchmaking
Vacheron Constantin

Vacheron Constantin stands apart from other watchmaking houses thanks to their attention to horological traditions such as enamelling, engraving, gem-setting, and engine-turning. Drawing upon their vast catalogue of historical pieces, their approach is deeply rooted in the past, bringing collectors modern interpretations of timeless classics. Meanwhile their vintage offerings are indisputably among some of the most sought-after examples by collectors, ranging from their luxury steel sportswatches, perpetual calendars, chronographs, and time-only examples.
Vacheron Constantin’s pieces remain at the height of elegant design, with their attention to detail and versatility revealing a range of noteworthy pieces. Through the years, they have expanded their scope to collaborate with artists and museums from around the world, including the Louvre in France and the Met in New York, while remaining grounded in their historical focus. This interest in creating truly noteworthy and special pieces, in addition to the glamour of their vintage examples, has ensured their continued significance to collectors of all kinds.
To us, Vacheron Constantin’s most compelling period was during the 70s and 80s, when some of the most striking innovation emerged from a troubled industry. From this time, we saw unusual pieces like the Mercator, as well as an intriguing amount of variety among their complicated references. Their modern work is also especially notable – in particular the artistry of their Metiers D’Art collection and nostalgia of the Les Historiques examples.
